In this 30 hour course we will be studying the different learning styles of adult learners.
We will learn how to put together a presentation, and will put together a lesson plan and deliver the lesson. This is the course needed to get your Instructors license.

Medical Massage Certification
Neck and Shoulder Pain
In this 6- hour course, we will be discussing the cycles of pain and things that can be used to break the cycle. We will be discussing
the muscles that will be worked on and locate the origins and insertions of each. We will teach by demonstration a multi-modality
protocol that has been developed to bring about relief to neck and shoulder pain in about 80% of cases. We will also be discussing
indications and contraindications for this procedure. Students will practice the protocol on each other.

Lower Back And Hip Pain

Insurance Billing
In this 4-hour course, we will explore the different types of insurance that are available and which types will pay for massage.
We will learn the requirements that are required for a therapist to accept insurance, and learn treatment codes that can be preformed
by a therapist as well as figuring the usual and customary charges for massage services. We will also learn how to fill out the claim
forms to file a claim.

Ethics
In this 2-hour course we will be looking at some of the ethical issues that are faced by massage therapist, and discussing how to deal
with these issues. We will also be discussing how to be a professional in this field and stay in ethical boundaries.
